The Nautilus with a cockpit for a dial. The 5712/1R takes the same rare complication set as the steel 5712/1A — moon phase, power reserve and running seconds, arranged asymmetrically rather than in neat matching pairs — and casts the whole watch in rose gold. Patek Philippe introduced this version in 2021, and the brown sunray dial against the warm case tone has made it one of the most requested gold Nautilus references since.
This 2023 example is housed in the 40mm rose gold case, just 8.52mm thick, with the octagonal bezel and integrated rose gold bracelet the Nautilus is known for. The sunburst brown dial deepens into a black-gradient rim, with applied rose gold hour markers and hands, both luminescent. The moon phase display sits with an analog date near 7 o'clock, a small seconds subdial at 4 o'clock, and an arc-shaped power reserve indicator between 10 and 11 o'clock. Inside is the automatic calibre 240 PS IRM C LU, visible through the sapphire exhibition caseback, with 29 jewels and up to 48 hours of power reserve.
